what we collect, why, who else sees it, and how to make it go away.
you type it at the end of the quiz, and again at checkout if you buy. we use it to send you your plan, your access link and your receipt, and to email you about the program — the odd lazy-meal email, a nudge if you stalled, an update to the app. every one of those has an unsubscribe link and one click ends it. we don't sell it, rent it or hand it to anyone who isn't listed below.
your weight, how much you move, whether you use protein powder, how you eat, what you avoid, the foods you picked, your budget, how much time you'll give a meal, what's derailed you before. this is what turns a generic plan into your plan — your calorie and protein target, your meals, your grocery list.
these live on your device, not on our server. when you finish the quiz we do send your email address to our email provider along with a short code that summarises your answers — a compact string of the option letters, no free text — so that the emails you get match the plan you built. that summary is the only copy of your answers that leaves your phone.
when you buy, lemon squeezy takes the payment and holds the order: your email, your billing country, the amount, the tax, and the last four digits of your card. we can look up an order and its license key so we can support you — we cannot see your card number, and neither can anyone here.
lemon squeezy also tells our server about the order, and we keep a small record of it: your email, the order id, the date you paid, which product it was, and whether it has been refunded. that record is what works out your refund dates, what the app's me tab shows you, and what closes the door: your access to the app ends when a refund is made. if you ask for a refund on this site, that request is kept with the order too.
our host logs the ordinary things a web server logs — the page requested, the time, a rough location from your ip address, your browser type. it's used to keep the site up and to stop abuse, not to build a profile of you. we don't run google analytics, a facebook pixel, or any advertising tracker on this site.
if you write to us, we keep the email so we can answer it and remember the conversation.
two blobs of data sit in your browser's local storage, on your phone or computer. nobody but that browser can read them. your progress never gets uploaded to us; your quiz answers do, but only once you've bought — the line below says why.
the practical consequences of that, both good and bad:
to delete it yourself: clear site data for dailylazylean.com in your browser settings, or delete the app from your home screen and clear the site's data. you don't need our permission and you don't need to tell us.
a small, boring list. each of these is a company we use to run the business, they only get what they need, and they're not allowed to use it for their own ends.

some of these are based outside the eu/uk, so your email address may be processed in another country under the safeguards those providers put in place. that's it — there is no advertising network, no data broker, and no one buying anything from us.
we don't run advertising or tracking cookies, which is why there's no cookie banner in your way.
what we do set, only after you've bought, are two cookies that are the lock on the product:
both are strictly necessary for a product you paid for to open. block them and the app won't let you in. the local storage blobs are in the section above.
if you're in the eu or the uk, the legal grounds, plainly:
you can ask us for a copy of what we hold on you, to correct it, to delete it, or to stop emailing you. one email does all of it:
if you're in the eu or the uk and you think we've handled your data badly, you can complain to your national data protection authority. we'd rather you told us first — we'll fix it.
lazy lean is for adults. we don't sell to anyone under 18 and we don't knowingly collect anything from a child. if you think a child has given us their email, tell us and we'll delete it that day.
when what we collect or who processes it changes, this page changes, and the date at the top moves. if it's a change that actually affects you, we'll email the list rather than quietly editing the page.
